October 2026 update on new RASKC facility

In July 2025, King County purchased a building to serve as the future headquarters of Regional Animal Services of King County and home to the Pet Adoption Center. As soon as the purchase was complete, the project team began planning the build out of the new facility. Early designs focused on modular construction within the existing warehouse space, with an initial goal of opening the new building in 2027. Read more.
