Official launch of KCWeb & roadshow – Feb. 26, 2015

King County’s new KCWeb Intranet will officially launch on Thursday, Feb. 26, and we will be celebrating with a traveling roadshow, an online treasure hunt, prizes and giveaways to help you get to know your new one-stop shop for employee news, information and the tools you use every day.

Join us from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, for live demonstrations of the new KCWeb, tips and giveaways in:

  • The Chinook Building lobby
  • King Street Center lobby
  • Administration Building 5th floor lobby.

If you can’t make it to one of the roadshow locations you can participate in an online treasure hunt and enter to win great prizes.

Phase one of the intranet redesign includes an employee portal homepage – a central hub for the tools, news and resources – plus eight new department, agency and division intranet sites.

The eight new department, agency and division intranet sites launching in phase one are Human Resources DivisionDepartment of Information TechnologyElectionsthe Executive’s OfficeDepartment of Permitting and Environmental ReviewDepartment of Judicial Administration, Department of Assessments, and the Department of Natural Resources. The Department of Adult & Juvenile Detention,  Department of  Community & Human Services, Department of Executive Services,  Department of Public Defense, Department of Public Health, Department of Transportation, and the Sheriff’s Office will launch soon. 

Please note that some content is still being finalized, and not all employees will be able to access all areas of every department or agency intranet site. You will need Internet Explorer 9 or above to view KCWeb.
