Rev Up For Retirement seminar on Nov. 13 

Are you too young to think about retirement? Think again! With increasing concern over the future of Social Security and the stability of retirement plans, it’s a good idea to stay informed and to prepare in advance. Please join the King County Retirement team for a three-hour seminar featuring guest speakers from Social Security and Jean Cormier, an expert in Medicare choices and options. Employee resources available through King County will also be shared.  

Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., King Street Center, 8th Floor Conference Room, 201 S. Jackson St. Registration is required. Register here.

  1. Hi David, thank you for your feedback. The Benefits, Payroll and Retirement Operations Section coordinates these seminars and several retirement classes. While the seminars are contingent on the guest speaker’s schedule, the current class offerings are expanding to include more Transit bases in 2020. The next class is at North Base on Nov. 20 at two times, 10 a.m.and 2 p.m. For more information about the upcoming classes or seminars, please contact Benefits directly at KC.Benefits@kingcounty.gov.

  2. These should also be held at least annually at each base. There should be two times offered, one earlier and one later in the day to accommodate various needs.
