Retirement plan contributions to change Sept. 1 

Employee and employer contribution rates for retirement plans will change on Sept. 1, 2022, as approved by the State Legislature. The state Pension Funding Council adjusts contribution rates as needed to fund the retirement benefits earned by members. Click here to see the new contribution rates.

Employee and employer contribution rates for some of the following retirement plans will change on Sept. 1, 2022, as approved by the State Legislature. The state Pension Funding Council adjusts contribution rates, as needed, to fund the retirement benefits earned by members. The PERS employer rate will change to 10.39% for all PERS plans. New PeopleSoft interface demonstrates improved inclusion and accessibility

You might have noticed a change the last time you logged in to PeopleSoft. As part of an upgrade earlier this month, the Business Resource Center (BRC) implemented a new look and feel to the interface, including new icons. Income and employment verification InVerify becomes The Work Number

King County’s income and employment verification service – InVerify – is transitioning to a new provider, The Work Number from Equifax. The Work Number provides a comprehensive income and employment verification service that helps employees qualify for loans, credit, government aid, and more. All current InVerify processes will be transferred to the www.theworknumber.com on Wednesday, June 8. Juneteenth an observed County holiday, June 20 

King County government will observe Juneteenth as a new paid holiday for the first time this year, on Monday, June 20. Last year, King County Council passed two Ordinances and King County bargained Agreements for represented employees to establish Juneteenth (June 19) and Indigenous Peoples’ Day (second Monday in October) as paid holidays starting in 2022 for King County employees who are eligible for comprehensive leave benefits. Click here to read more.
